Cinderella at Milton Keynes Theatre starring Louie Spence, Anna Williamson, Deniece Pearson and Kev Orkian.

I met a star were kindly invited to attend the press night performance of Milton Keynes Theatre’s Pantomime for 2012 – Cinderella

Wow – what a night! The show was enjoyed by both the kids and the big kids – there really is something for everyone.

I have to say the highlight was Louie Spence who plays his role of ‘Dandini’, the Prince’s rather outrageous servant brilliantly – watch for his exits from the stage in particular!

The beautiful Anna Williamson plays Cinderella perfectly and you might remember Deniece Pearson from both 80’s group ‘Five Star’ and more recently ‘The Voice’. You won’t be disappointed in either her portrayal of  ‘The Fairy Godmother’, or with her outstanding voice.

A special mention has to go to the comedy star of the show –  Kev Orkian as ‘Buttons’ – laughs a plenty and a moment of pure genius from him on the piano.

With a mixture of musical styles from ‘Let it be’ to ‘Gangnam Style’ and a set and costumes which are truly breathtaking, not forgetting the hilarious ugly sisters, the real Shetland ponies and the dashing Prince Charming  – if you see one pantomime this year it has to be this one!

Cinderella runs until the 6th January with tickets starting at just £12 – click here for more details

One last comment – watch out for the ‘Who’ ‘What’ ‘I don’t know’ scene – I am still chuckling at the thought of it….
